Money Problems.....
Continental congress had no power to raise money through taxes . But they received some money from the states & from foreign countries . But much more money was needed , they printed hundreds of millions of dollars worth of money . The effect was it led to inflation , it took more and more money to buy the same amount of goods . The congress stop giving people money because no one would use it . Americans didn't have no other way to finance the fighting of their own war .
